Director

Dean Yates

Dean co-founded MDN with Neil in 2005. He leads the management and development of the business, playing a pivotal role in executing our strategy across the business to ensure our vision, mission, and values are upheld. Additionally, he focuses on driving sustainable growth and team expansion, all while maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Dean has over three decades of experience in the electrical industry, acquiring extensive commercial and practical knowledge, which he combines with a strong attention to detail in his work.

Away from work, Dean enjoys spending quality time with his family, supporting Manchester United, cooking, staying active with his dogs, and—apparently—he’s also promising to pick up his golf clubs again.

Project Manager

Oliver Frost

Ollie joined MDN UK in 2012 as an electrician and has since advanced to the role of Project Manager. He is responsible for overseeing all project operations, both in the office and on-site, and efficiently coordinating labour resources to ensure projects are executed to the highest quality standards.

Ollie has 12 years of experience within the electrical sector, specialising in customer satisfaction and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Outside of work, Ollie enjoys playing golf, socialising with friends and spending quality time with family.

Project Coordination Manager

Rhys Cowler

Rhys joined MDN UK in 2016 as an electrical apprentice and, after completing four years on-site, advanced to the position of Project Coordination Manager. In this role, Rhys is responsible for preparing electrical estimates for new projects and developing comprehensive electrical designs that bring clients' visions to life.

Rhys has over 9 years of experience in the electrical sector and has a particular interest in stage lighting.

Outside of work, Rhys spends time training as a Cheerleader competing for Team England at the world championships in Florida.

Neil co-founded MDN UK with Dean in 2005. Neil oversees project operations, surveys and scopes new projects, and manages client relationships.

Neil brings over 42 years of experience in the electrical sector, with a particular specialisation in the healthcare sector.

Outside of work, Neil enjoys playing golf, walking his dog and supporting Manchester United Football Club.

Neil Frost

George joined MDN UK in 2016 as an electrician and has since advanced to the role of Project Designer, where he leads the design and development of new projects.

With over 12 years of experience in the electrical sector, George now specialises in project design, with a particular expertise in Lutron systems and commissioning.

Outside of work, George enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing golf, and following the Formula 1.

George Mills

Poppy joined MDN UK in 2022 as an Office Administrator and has since advanced into the role of Business Administrator, where she takes on a range of commercial responsibilities, supporting key business functions. In addition to her role, Poppy is currently pursuing a Level 6 Apprenticeship degree in Business Management and Practice.

Poppy has over two years of experience in office administration, with a strong focus on attention to detail and maintaining a high standard of work quality.

Outside of work, Poppy enjoys traveling to new destinations and spending quality time with family and friends.

Ruby joined MDN UK in 2024 as an Office Administrator. In this role, she is responsible for managing all staff and client documentation, handling telephone inquiries, and ensuring the office operations remain organised and up to date.

Ruby brings 4 years of experience in managing documentation and delivering comprehensive administrative support, ensuring the seamless execution of essential office operations.

Outside of work, Ruby enjoys travelling to new places, socialising with friends, and spending quality time with family.
